Yes, I do still blog! It’s just been a week of craziness around here coupled with the holiday weekend, which I do hope everybody enjoyed.

I don’t have much to say today other than I’m not feeling to tell at the moment. I woke up with a sore throat Saturday and it hurts to swallow. It kind of feels like my esophagus is about the width of a plastic straw and every piece of food or drink is a pointy ball about the size of a Volkswagen. Not a lot of fun.

My nose is also stuffed up but not runny. It’s almost similar to the sinus infection I had earlier in the year but fortunately, nowhere near as bad. I spend a good portion of today sleeping and as of now, I feel much better but still a bit out of sorts.

My only hope is that I get better by Friday. That’s when the Orange County Fair opens and let me tell you, all bets are off when it comes to eating right when the fair’s in town! In fact, on Friday they have Free Hour between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. when admission and parking are absolutely free. You think I’m gonna pass this up? No way!

Anyway, it’s back to bed I go. Hope you all are doing better…!
