But alas, it’s a dreary Friday. The Land of Sunshine has more or less turned into the Land of Wind and Ghosts on this rainy day:

That’s a far cry from Tuesday when I took these shots of the L.A. skyline from the Green Line station:

Optical zoom maxed on the Kodak DX6490

Digital zoom nearly maxed on the Kodak DX6490
That looks close but trust me, it’s not. Here’s what it actually looks like from the train station:

I’ve begun toting along my Kodak DX6490 just in case I come across any unexpected filming around the workplace because, as you know, the CSI: Miami crew is following me. Turned out to be a good idea. I took this decent display of repeating patterns courtesy of the Taylor Made Golf truck parked in the hotel parking lot. And it didn’t really hit me until right now, but all of these golf bags and clubs on display is reminiscent of their current advertising campaign.
The Kid’s a bit under the weather today so while he naps and recovers, here I am typing away. I hope he’s better by tomorrow when we make our trek to Fillmore, CA for A Day Out with Thomas. A butt-load of pictures will, of course, follow.
Have a good weekend, y’all!
Funny how 2 blogs on opposite coasts post same-day skylines! 🙂
