Heading to Pennsylvania?

My father-in-law is currently in PA visiting his sick brother. He will be returning on May 30th and said he thinks we’d like it out there.

Ann is seriously considering flying out for the (Memorial Day) weekend. I, too, would also think it would be an interesting trip since her family hails from Lebanon (pronounced LEB-nin by locals).

We’ll see, but right now it’s just a thought. But we do seriously need a mini-vacation.

This dummy checked his available PTO and realized he only has 5.8 hours. Not quite enough to take a day off so it looks like our trip is on hold indefinitely. But this does give us some to to plan ahead. We already know we want to see Gettysburg, Lancaster, and drive down to Washington, DC.

But the weekend escape may still be on. Las Vegas is merely 300 miles away 🙂

Perhaps the most amazing part of the tour was getting up close and personal with a couple of cargo ships. If you think a container truck is pretty big, you should see a cargo ship in person. They are just incredibly large and a sight to behold, and make you feel *this* small when you put it into perspective.
