Naomi Campbell is Delusional

In case you’ve been living on Mars or something, here’s what Naomi Campbell – the cell-phone assistant-beating supermodel – thinks of Cadbury’s new UK ad (which as since been pulled), seen below:

“It’s upsetting to be described as chocolate, not just for me, but for all black women and black people. I do not find any humor in this. It is insulting and hurtful.” – Naomi Campbell, on Cadbury ad

Flashback to 1999, when she so willingly posed on top of, well…

Naomi-Campbell-choc-bunny

…a gigantic chocolate Playboy bunny. Maybe she’s not getting the paychecks she used to but seriously, how in the hell can she call the Cadbury ad “racist” when here she is making love to the camera on such a prop?

Am I missing something here? Was this in the Easter issue of Playboy, hence the chocolate bunny, or was it just mere coincidence? Was it meant to imply anything?

But I digress and have a few questions for her.

Hey Naomi, have you ever:

  • Been forced to sit at the back of the bus?
  • Been made to drink from a water “colored” fountain?
  • Had no choice but to use a “colored” bathroom?
  • Aside from your lifetime ban from British Airways for acting like a batshit crazy total bee-yatch, been denied service anywhere because of your race?

I’m going to go out on a limb – call me crazy – and say you haven’t.

Diva? Probably.

Delusional? Most definitely.
