I stayed home from work on Friday to nurse a stomach that had been exposed to that thing which a certain hut passes off as pizza. Yeech.
Anyway, I was all better after the weekend. It was back to work on Monday. I hopped on the Blue Line and then walked up the steps to the Green Line, and that’s where I saw this:

It turns out that L.A.’s MTA Green Line is now a rolling billboard for McDonald’s new Angus Burger.
As you may already know, we in Southern California are lucky enough to be guinea pigs for this fat-laden monstrosity. But let’s be perfectly honest here. Given McDonald’s track record of McBurgers and and how the “Mc” has become synonymous with anything generic or bland in nature, there’s no way I’d willingly try one of these things. They just don’t look that good, and seeing them up close on the side of a train every day just makes them less appetizing to me.
And even though it looks relatively appealing in terms of assembly, you just know it won’t look like that once you get it.
Speaking of eating, a friend came over last night and we chowed down on some pizza and salad from the place he owns. It was incredibly good stuff and didn’t make me sick like Pizza Hut’s crap on a crust.
And I gained a pound. Or two. And didn’t exercise or Wii as I normally do.
Back on the horse today…
