Photo Migration

With Yahoo! now offering unlimited e-mail storage, it’s obvious something had to give.

That’s why it came as no surprise to me that upon logging in to my Yahoo! Photos account, there was a message reminding me that I have XX days to pack it up and get the hell out.

So that’s what I’m doing. By the time this post goes live, my Flickr account should be a Pro account which not only means unlimited storage and bandwidth, but also means hi-resolution goodness. No more squinting at the monitor to see what I’m babbling about–I’m no longer a tightwad and actually spent money for a service I needed!

Soon afterwards, time permitting of course, I will begin migrating any images now hosted by Yahoo! Photos to Flickr. Don’t be surprised if you come across any links to photos that are broken; it may take me some time to get a handle on this.
