September 2003: We see Anthony for the first time.
March 30, 2004: Anthony born. (By the way, I’m no longer that big.)
March 2005: 1 year old, first birthday party.
2006: 2 years old, Easter Egg hunt.
2007: 3 years old, Disneyland.
2008: 4 years old, Las Vegas, NV.
2009: 5 years old, MTA train, Los Angeles, CA.
2010: 6 years old, Farmer’s Market, Los Angeles, CA.
2011: 7 years old, Lakewood Country Club, Lakewood, CA.
And by the time this post goes live (10:47 am), the little boy who enriched our lives for the better will be 8 years old.
The past 8 years have been filled with ups and downs but in the end, they’ve been the most fulfilling of our lives. There is no better job on this planet than the one which pays nothing yet makes you rich in so many other aspects of your life: that of parent.
Anthony, Mommy and Daddy love you beyond a scope of measure that you will never, ever understand until you settle down and have children of your own. It’s been challenging yet fun at the same time, and we wouldn’t trade it for anything else.
Happy 8th birthday, my son. I can’t wait to get you on the links and at the rate you’re going, you’ll absolutely kill me out there.
And I wouldn’t want it any other way.
Happy birthday, Anthony, from the other side of the USA!

He says “Thanks!” It’s funny to see how he got so much larger over the years while I shrunk 🙂
