If you’re a fan of The Simpsons, your local 7-11 store is the place to be right now. That’s because most are carrying Simpson-related merchandise like the items seen above, and some have been completely transformed into Kwik-E-Marts. A quick search of “kwik-e-mart” yields in Flickr some fantastic results.
All of this is part of what I’d consider one of the best movie tie-in promotions ever. Only a select few of the thousands of 7-11 stores across the country have been revamped as Kwik-E-Marts, and two are pretty close to me (Burbank and Los Angeles).
The Squishee–it was not made entirely of syrup–and Homer’s trademark pink donut will hold me over until we make it to one of the aforementioned locations this weekend. And you can bet I will be taking pictures. Until then…
