Where Am I?, originally uploaded by aeromat.
Inside the Walt Disney Studios, Burbank, CA. This is where all things Disney happen–pretty damn amazing. Lots of pics to follow when I get home!
UPDATE: All images have been uploaded and will only be accessible until Thursday, when I will make the set Private again. If you wish to see them after that, you must request to be one of my Contacts on Flickr.
We also made a trip to the Imagineering Building which was just a few miles away. Photography is forbidden inside but honestly, there wasn’t much to see. Both places had employee stores where any Disney fan would absolutely lose their freraking minds–especially pin collectors. I bought more than my share of things for everybody, including a Walt Disney Studios “Part of the Magic” license frame. The rest were [limited edition and employee-only] pins and other goodies.
Walking around there was really interesting. This is where everything Disney comes together, you know? The history of the place and all that goes along with it…it was humbling to be a part of it if only for a few hours.
Ready to go? The slideshow starts here. Enjoy!

Holy Macaroni, Dave. You sure did take a lot of pictures. My co-worker Erin just loves Disney and she would have been in heaven to have been there with you. 🙂

Let me tell you–it was quite impressive walking where Walt dreamed up mostly everything and where today’s projects are born. And being the failed artist/cartoonist, it was close to nirvana for me to be there.
